Privacy Policy
Local journal
Kairos stores focus sessions, file-activity metadata, agent claims, and related journal data on your computer. It does not screen-record. You can wipe or export data from Settings. We do not receive your journal contents as part of normal use.
Website & install
The download site and install scripts are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard web logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) may be processed by Cloudflare for delivery and abuse prevention. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free page-view metrics) on this site. We do not sell personal data.
Checkout & licenses
Paid access is processed by Razorpay. Razorpay receives payment details and the email you use at checkout. We store license metadata tied to your Kairos ID (and related session identifiers) so we can issue and recover license keys. See Razorpay’s own privacy policy for payment processing.
Terms acceptance
The app or Linux installer stores the accepted Terms version and timestamp locally on your device. When you continue to paid checkout, the Terms version and a server-generated acceptance timestamp are also attached to checkout metadata.
Optional signals
If you use in-app usefulness / feedback features, we may receive anonymous or low-detail ratings (for example OS and app version) without your journal text. If you attach a screenshot to Send feedback, that image is uploaded to us and leaves your machine.
Updates
Update checks may contact our update feed to learn whether a newer build exists. That request typically includes platform information needed to select the right package — not your journal.
Cancellation and Refund
Paid licenses are one-time periods. For cancellations or refunds, see Cancellation and Refund, or email kairosfolio.support@gmail.com with your Kairos ID and payment details.
